I use this pedal going from the 1/4" jacks on my Helix to my amps. The XLR going to FOH is not affected. This helps me making on the spot level adjustments when needed. The minimum level pot on the side helps this process a lot. The pedal is heavy and strurdy. You have to watch the jacks, because you can easily pull the cables giving massive unwanted noises, aside from that there is nothing negative say about it.
