Probably the best way to power Line 6 HX FX

The best PS to power Line 6 HX FX (you also need the adapters Cioks 8800 Parallel Adapter Flex and Cioks 3050 Flex Typ 3). The Line 6 HX FX is very power hungry and can draw up to 1.1A under heavy DSP usage. Most PSs have a max. of 500mA outputs, so there's the risk that using a current doubler isn't enough. In this case, the outputs are 660mA, so you're safe.

P.S. The HX Stomp draws is a bit less power hungry, drawing up to 900mA, so you're probably safe if you use a doubler on another PS's regular 500mA outputs.

Excellent small power supply

There is no doubting the excellent quality and flexibility of this unit. If you have pedals with a variety of voltage and polarity needs then there is little to touch it. And although there are only 5 outputs it is supplied with a daisy chain so a number of lower amp pedals can be run off one output. It's small and low profile making it ideal to go under small footprint boards. There are no noise/interference issues. Throw away your wall warts and get one

Amazing little unit - Hit the mark 100%

I am driving a small pedalboard with only 4 pedals, so I needed a small but powerful unit. Because one of my pedal is a MIDI foot switch controller which draws 500mAh of current at 9V. This unit gives you 660 mAh per output at 9V and it's plenty ! No power drops and absolutely 0 buzz !

This comes with a plethora of flex cables to suit your needs. Short, longs, split, reverse polarity...
I currently use the Y flex cable to daisy chain a low power a tuner and a booster on 1 single output and also 2 single flex cable for the other 2 pedals, meaning I still have 2 spare outputs out of 5. This is brilliant!

The highlight for me is that thing is Modular. I'm planning to get a Shure wireless emitter that runs at 12/15V but is centre positive,... yikes !...
Not a problem when you own a Cioks unit. I can run this with the CIOKS SOL, I don't have to carry another PSU, i can just change the output setting on 1 out to 12V, use the red polarity switch flex cable and "voila". Sorted !
[EDIT: I got a SHURE BLX Wireless system and it works absolutely brilliantly because of the modular power supplied by the CIOKS - Incredible]

It's like magic. I love it. it's light, small, inconspicuous and powerfully modular, perfect. I will recommend Cioks 110% from now on.

I have D'darrio XPND 1.
It barely fits under this board — one should put it as high under the board as possible, but it fits, and that's what matters. Outputs are isolated, and it's efficient.

It comes with an assortment of 9 cables for pedal powering.

Heads up! 5 outputs might not be enough for this exact pedalboard using packaged cables, given you are fitting only Boss-type pedals, because it can fit at least 7 of those.

The box has a 3-way daisy chain type 1 cable, which allows you to connect 3 pedals that don't require isolated inputs from a single output and are not power hungry, but it might not be the case.
For example, to connect HX Stomp, one would need to buy a Parallel adapter Flex from Cioks separately or a similar current doubler cable that uses two outputs to double the current into a single power input for HX Stomp. That's what I need to do to power my HX Stomp using Sol. That I don't like and my only big irk.

However, unless you have more than 5 pedals and all require more than 9V of isolated power, you should be all set from the get-go.

I would love if they put a velcro in the box, but it doesn't have that too.

Other than that, everything is just perfect, love it.
