Great product, recommended.
I don't have an awful lot of experience with similar products; my main go-to has been wiping with microfiber cloth.
The cleaning does work - and the lubricant can be felt and heard. I get a little less string noise when I slide, and while I don't feel faster in particular, I've always liked the sleek feel of Elixir Nanowebs, which have the lowest amount of string noise I've ever tried. I mainly use this lubricant on Elixir Attune strings and Ernie Ball Earthwood strings, and the latter especially display a reduced friction.
It does cost some money though, and I find it a tad too expensive for what it is, in spite of my recommendation. Wiping your strings with a cloth after playing will get you there for the cleaning part, and other brands have string cleaners that can be used for other things as well.
