Great kit - a few small issues.
This kit sounds amazing. Toms are clear, clean and look great. Bass drum is suprisingly "Thick" sounding, for such a narrow shell.
The sound of the drumkit is also very versatile. I have used it for jazz, funk and pop so far, and it fills the needs.
The portability of the drums are the biggest plus. I can carry the entire drumkit (excluding snare) in a 20'' Bass Drum Case; wrapping the drums in seperate blankets.
The issues:
- The snare is limited. I haven't found a use for it for live performance, other than effect snare.
- The tom mount is very mediocre. When you "lock" it onto the BD there is still a few millimeters of leeway, meaning the tom moves a little while playing. The clutch also doesn't hold completely tight.
Still love the kit. And for that price it is 100% worth it for me.
