Very similar the NYXL or Optiweb strings
Very similar to D'Addarios NYXL or Elixir Optiweb in sound and feel, although the DR strings does have a bit more prominent feeling to the coating.
Which isn't necessarily bad, the coating makes it last long and though it has a semi slippery feeling when touching the strings, it's not slippery when bending and the like.
