what an awesome bass

this is without doubt a very high quality laminate double bass,i would say it is the pinnacle of laminate basses.
the build quality is of the very highest grade,it is beautifully made with high quality materials & components.
it looks stunning,i always get very good comments at every gig i play with my Duke bass.
it plays very nicely indeed,i find some things that were difficult to play on my old bass are now much easier to play on my Duke.
the sound,oh the sound is just perfect being very deep & punchy with very well defined notes anywhere on the fingerboard.i play 1950's Rockabilly music & this bass delivers the perfect old school sound i want,my band love it too.
the bass comes ready setup for Rockabilly slap style playing & it is set up to perfection,needing no further work at all.
as a bonus when played live at high volume i get no feedback problems with my Duke,where as my old bass was very prone to feedback.
the supplied Gut-a-Like strings are also very good & give a very gut string tone,i am very happy with them.
to sum up,if you are wanting a top quality,professional quality laminate double bass for Rockabilly,Swing,Country,Jazz or any style of music requiring slap or regular pizzicato style playing & want an old school sound look no further the a Duke bass.
