Dunlop Lemon Oil

This oil, the Dunlop Lemon Oil, is a very versatile oil and lasts long. It gives the fretboard and saddle a beautiful satin look.
Taking off the lit there is no direct acces to the oil. In the bottle opening is a sponge, and by turning the bottle upside down, and pressing it to the fretboard, the oil comes out in a proper amount. Then wipe out the oil, let it sit for a while, and wipe off again.

I use Dunlop Lemon Oil just about every 5-6 months on my rosewood fretboard.


The good:

-Pretty easy to use. Just gently smear it on your fretboard. Don't use too much on the fretboard. A little goes a long way!

-A nice lemon smell, which i really appreciate!


The bad:

-When I first used it I could not get any lemon oil out. I had to shake the bottle many many times before the oil got through.

Bought this to maintain rosewood fretboards on my electric and western guitars. It works a treat. I have no issues with this what-so-ever. It impressed me how little goes a long way - I feel I will have this bottle for a very long time.

I would buy it again and I recommend the product.
