I need a soft clipping TS style pedal with some extra option and thought this one has it but it just is not for me tone wise. It is not really soft clipping, not even on the toggle 3 option which ought to be that TS 808 style clipping. This one has a bit more hard clip in it. Also lots more gain in this one and I need more sweep in the low overdrive option to find that sweet "always on" tone. This one kind of does not have that. It sounds good and has lots of headroom and is quiet enough. My hunt for soft clipping low OD continues.

My only regret with this pedal is that i don't have two. Sounds great as an always on with a slight amp-like crunch, but it gets really nice when you give it some drive as well. I'm often tweaking up the gain when practicing, so it might be time i add another one to the board.
