Long lasting strings
Once you're comfortable playing with coated strings, it's difficult to go back. They keep sounding clear for much longer than usual strings.
They will definitely last you longer that non-coated strings and will be cheaper in the long run.
Just note that they feel a bit different. They are much smoother (almost too smooth at times) than regular strings.
