Pros:
Great metal gain sound.
nice looks.
Very cheap price for both pots, output jack and the pickup it self.
Cons:
Cleans are a bit weird sounding.
there were not a battery mounting included or protection or what you will call it.
But all in all for the cheap price you can not get a better metal pickup with this easy solderless system.
10/10 would buy again.

King of metal!

In search of the Ultimate pickup for metal i chose the EMG 81 for the bridge along with the EMG 60 for the neck.
The EMG 81 slices through anything in a very musical Way with crispness and fluidity at the same time and suits my style perfectly. Highly recommended. Fast and flawless delivery from Thomann as usual and a pleasure deling with you!

Solid pickup

Med EMG 81 Black, har man en pickup der kan bruges i mange genre. Dette kan i hvert fald siges om metal den kan klare alt lige fra Glam til thrash til tung dødsmetal.

Ud over dette er den ekstrem nem at installere.

And it's just so freaking great overall. No noise, no feedback. As close to perfection as you get.
Perfect if you want a mic that can do any metal music (in general)
Very attack-y sound. Amazing and easy to install, check emg TV on YouTube for a visual guide on installation
