A few years back, I owned a 1996 Gibson Les Paul Custom in wine red. I loved that guitar, but various circumstances made me sell it, and I have had serious regrets ever since. This guitar is spot on in every way. Finish, pickups, colour, neck profile, weight (not too heavy due to the 9 hole weight relief). Everything on it brings me back to the happy days with the Gibson.
The case, that comes with it is also of very good quality.
The guitar came with a neck relief and action that needed some adjustments - but that is the case with any new guitar in my experience. To suit your personal taste and playing style, a setup is always needed.
So, I can't recommend this guitar highly enough. Epiphone has really knocked the ball out of the park with this guitar model. And at a price that is unbelievable compared to the 'big G'.
Now, go and get one before they disappear or the price goes up!
