Not suitable for Alnico 3
I tried these strings on a hum bucker guitar and bought a set for my telecaster with alnico 3 single coils. Where the sound was by far muddy and boomy. Without being an expert, maybe the AlNiCo where Co stands for Cobalt doesn't like Cobalt strings. But if you are on hum buckers, they are worth a try. The handling of these strings is really pleasant for bending.
