Great for slapping
Bought these for my resonator bass with the intent of slapping (Les Claypool style) and these strings are in an entirely different league from the Rotosound Swing (steel) strings I had before. They sound crisp, sharp and have a great pop when slapping. Due to them being a bit on the thinner side I had to adjust the neck of the bass ever so slightly but I'm planning on sticking with these strings for a while so it's not a big deal.
I've heard that they wear quick and become "dull" but since I've only had them for a day I can't really say much about that.
