I bought this for my Eastman t64. Essentially a casino/es330. Hoping that it would fit. I was betting on this gigbag because if it worked out, it would be a very tight fit. A lot of cases and gigbag intended for semi hollow guitars seem to be quite oversized and has the guitar kinda slushing around inside of them.
My Eastman fits. Very tightly, but not in a way where the zippers are scraping against the binding when zipping it up. So all in all it worked out well. I think it would fit a es 335 as well. It’s only around 2,5 cm longer over all than a 330. And there seems to be room for that.
So all in all for my extremely specific needs it worked out well. For any of the guitars that the bag is actually made for, I think it would be a fantastic choice. My tele fits beautifully in it as well. Quality seems fantastic and the design is very intelligent.
I’m hoping this review will serve someone who’s looking at this product for the same reasons as I was.
Notes:
I’m not to sure if an epiphone casino would fit. With the longer headstock, but it might.
Any semi hollow with a bigsby would probably be pushing it.
The headstock is NOT floating inside the case. It touches the “floor” of the bag and thereby the ground if the case is layed down flat on the ground. I’m not too worried about this as I think it would be dum to lay down a fully hollow instrument on the ground in a gigbag and expect it to be particularly safe.
