Last week received a - yes, probably only a "Squier" - Jaguar - fresh in a box from the warehouse.
The first thing I find out is that it is impossible to get in tune - the intonation is absolutely breathtaking.
Then I see that the bridge can be tilted as much as 10-15 degrees in its base - this is perhaps called a "floating" bridge. A little abundant fluid for me.
Now I get the bridgen attached and put brand new strings on. The old strings "buzzed" more than they gave real sound. Maybe they were made of old Chinese barbed wire.
There is a control card hanging on the guitar that tells who has controlled what. THIS GUITAR HAS NEVER BEEN CHECKED: Too bad, too bad mr. Thomann.
