Focusrite ISA Two

This thing absolutely blows my mind everytime I record through it. I have several of the other Focusrite products that claim to emulate this sound but while they sound great nothing beats the real thing. It's crisp and clear and transparent and has tons of clean gain on tap. The ability to switch impedances is a great feature!

The DI sounds great and I primarily use that functionality for tracking bass with stunning results.

While not exactly a budget option I still feel like you get a lot better quality than with any other dual pre in this price range.

Obviously, this isn't a "colour box" type pre-amp, so if you're looking for a particular flavour you should look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a clean and loyal representation of the source material, you really can't go wrong.

I will be coming back for more of these, either in a 4 or 8 input configuration.
