Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen

Dette lydkort er et staple hos mange hiphop engineers. Det er udmærket til at indspille vokaler, og det ikke koster alverden.

OBS!! Solo-modellen har kun ÉN volumeknap, og den styrer output til både høretelefoner og monitors samtidig. Dvs. man er nødt til at slukke for monitors når man skal indspille.

Derudover er der ikke nok power til man kan benytte 250 ohm høretelefoner.

Til gengæld er den solidt bygget, og kan holde til lidt af hvert.

Alt i alt - hvis du arbejder alene, og ikke skal bruge både monitors or hørebøffer samtidig, er Scarlett Solo udemærket... men tag hellere storebroren!

Over all I love the product, its easy to use, and has a really good sound. Tho however expect on having to buy a studio headset along with it, as the audio delay can be very high depending on the Sample Rate, and Buffer size. Of course it also depends on your system and how good it is. The handling of the device can be really tricky at first, not to mention that you need to be careful hitting certain buttons, without making it stop working all together. I like the product and the sound is good but this one is definitely temporary. I also did have some issues with me having to use mono audio for it cause for some reason only one channel worked, but that might be a cable error.

The Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen is a solid audio interface that's perfect for casual use. The build quality is robust, and the setup is incredibly easy. Overall, it delivers impressive performance for the price. However, one feature that slightly annoyed me was the volume knob. On the 3rd Gen, the same knob controls both your headphone and speaker output. This can be a bit inconvenient when you're adjusting your setup, especially if you're frequently switching between headphones and speakers. It's not a dealbreaker, but it can get frustrating when you're trying to find the right balance.

That being said, I believe Focusrite addressed this issue in the 4th Gen model, which is a great improvement. If you're looking for a more refined experience with independent controls for headphones and speakers, the 4th Gen would definitely be the way to go.
