Was scratching my head for weeks trying to work out how to mount my Nord Drum 3p to a stand. Do I buy the expensive Roland Drum pad stand or use this Gibraltar clamp and DIY something myself.
In the end I used this clamp with a music stand I already own and put something together. Turned out much better than expected so the cost of this clamp actually turned out to be a bargain in comparison.
Just ensure your tubes you connect this too will fit. Otherwise I recommend this...
I have this clamp holding a tom mount into 2 boomarms that hold total of 3 splashes and the stability is still perfect. Couldn't ask for better stability and the quality is nice as well. The only downside is that finding the correct rotation angle is difficult because you can'y have the clamp holding onto anything when you want to change the rotational angle.
