A versatile and good looking instrument.

I tried the 345 and the '59 335, but the 1959 ES-355 stands out - maybe because of the ebony fingerboard and build quality. The 355 has a certain twang for rhythm guitar and a clean dark sound for single notes. Mine is a 2023 model and had been in the case for two years, but played well out of the box. I am used to the action of jazz guitars so I have installed an original trapeze tailpiece instead of the stop tailpiece. It is an expensive, but versatile instrument.

Altissimo livello di costruzione. Bella da guardare e ancora di più da suonare. Leggera, bilanciata (un po' meno da seduti) e dal grande suono. Una dinamica pazzesca, un suono caldo e potente.
