It's a beautiful 3 piece top which makes this model very distinct and tonally it's in a right area for slash sound. PUs are hot really and much easier to get up to higher gain area than custombuckers I'd say.
I'm surprised how US factory did the setup with this one. The setup was perfect and hardly find any deadspot. I've had customshop les pauls in the past, but this one definately rivals them. First time buying slash les paul and really satisfied with the purchase. Also thanks to Thonmann customer service team, helping me with the order and inquiries. Cheers!

A lot of people in the music community disliked the three piece tops and claim they don’t sound very good or a cheap way out instead of the two piece. This guitar sounds as great as my other Gibson’s I have. And looks pretty cool. The pick ups sound great to my ears. The feel is nice. Bit more slim than the other 50’s paul I have (not by much). It’s kind of nice not having the fret nibs on this one, I can wear the frets out and not worry about losing the nibs if it will require a refret like on the other Gibsons. All in all, just nice to play.
