Quick Snap/Quick ReleaseThis Quick Snap is an adapter plug to mount an object to a hook or clamp in a fast and easy way. The mounting can be done with only one hand and in only a few seconds! No more the need for awkwardly having to position with one hand and locking with the other.

The locking happens mechanically through the insertion of the spigot into the receiver socket which secures the spigot in place. The rotation of the spigot can be further secured by tightening of a wing screw. The form-fitting lock prevents the wing screw from directly pressing onto the spigot.

Will fit only spigots with a very thin end.
Better use spigot of the same brand.

Great to add to old T-bars

I got these to add to old T-bars as I use the super clamps and these save me removing the Adam Hall SS 018 Bolt M10 from my lights to use my old T-bars and also speeds up rigging and de-rigging of the lights and there is no wing nuts to loses.

Dangerous due to misleading blurb

Edit, sep 2020 avoid this like the plague. Very dangerous.

Hi guys the advertising for this product gave me the impression that fittings just snap in to place and use of the fastening screw was optional. This is not the case, when you push the button and push the spigot in to place you get the impression your fitting is secure, but it’s not, if you don’t tighten the screw then the lights fall out, that’s not good is it.

Great product if used safely .

Ich nutze die Quick Snaps für kleine Lichteffekte, wie Derby und kleine Scanner ADJ ComScan. Sehr guter Verschlussmechanismus. Erster Schritt das Gerät einhängen (Snapverschluss) - ist dann schon sicher vor dem Herunterfallen. Danach richtig positionieren und das Gewinde eindrehen um es zu fixieren. Wichtig! das Objekt muss zusätzlich mit einem Safety gesichert werden, da eine werkzeuglose Demontage möglich ist.
Beste Investition, bevor ich jedes mal mit Maulschlüssel zu Gange bin und Gefahr laufe das Equipment zu beschädigen.
