Gotoh Pickups TV-1 P-90 Dogear NE BK

This Gotoh P90 dogear pickup is vintage low output pickup which means it will need to get very close to the strings to get it to sound clear and dynamic! Too far from the strings and one get that not so nice fundamental note, without harmonic overtones. However raise the pickup to about 1.5-2 mm from the strings and it comes alive! Loads of grunt but also cleans up nicely by backing the volume knob. I have this one on a Tele partcaster and am happy with how it sounds! Just now ordered a Gotoh 50's Tele Bridge pickup to pair it with this Dogear P90 in hope they are well balanced, especially in the middle position! The price is too good not to get it!
