Harley Benton Fusion-T HH LH Roasted FNT

I own many Guitars, mainly super strats (Charvel, Jacksons, ESP etc).
They all have floyd rose bridges so I've been looking for another type of guitar for a while...Searching Thomann on the website I saw the Harley Benton's. I checked out the Fusion line and wanted to buy the Fusion II HSH but it wasn't in stock so I saw the Fusion-T HH and read the specs. I was totally amazed at the specs and price of the guitar as for those specs, guitars are normally 3 times+ the price so I bought it and thought (If i like it I'll just change the pickups and bought some Duncans) ... So, I got it yesterday, set it up to my taste and plugged it in...WOW!!! It's not only a Beautiful guitar with top specs but sounds and feels amazing! I like the pickups too so I might even leave it as it is! So, this guitar is here to stay! If you are thinking on getting one, it's a no brainer...Don't even think about it, just get it before they go out of stock again (which happened to me, for thinking too much). I'm currently recording a new album and this guitar is going to be played in it as I just love it! I don't normally write reviews but this guitar deserves it (PS: I don't work for the company and I'm not getting anything out of this) ... this is my honest opinion. Get one and enjoy it you won't be disappointed with this guitar!

As a left handed player you'll know how hard it is to find quality gear at an affordable price. Hence when I saw many great reviews and play throughs of the Fusion-T HH LH Roasted FNT I was very interested. I already own a P90s Harley Benton (TE-90QM LH Trans Red) and it's remarkably good - in every area. I'd missed the last restocking in 2021 but managed to place an order this time and it arrived today.

Out of the box it's okay but I am not as impressed as I was by the TE-90QM. The reasons for this are: the fret ends are sharp in places; the frets are rough and haven't been dressed properly; it looks like it's been played already (judging by some v minor scratch marks on the back); the flamed top on this one is very plain (meh maybe - just a bit disappointed); and the sound balance between N and B PUPs is off.

I think I can adjust some of the setup issues and get it dressed a bit better but I have to say I'm a bit underwhelmed by quality control after my previous experience. Not sure if I'll be able to update this review in due course -- once I've had a chance to play it for a bit -- but I will, if so.

Initial impressions then aren't the 10/10 I'd hoped to report based on others' experience and YouTube reviews, but if things change I'll be sure to reflect that in another post.

Can't decide to get a telecaster, stratocaster or a les paul. This guitar answers me my 3 dilemma in one guitar. A tele shape, a humbucker les paul and a strat tremolo. Love the concept and idea of this guitar.

Shipping is fantastic. Hope u guys can give more protection to prevent the shipping rash.

Out if box fantastic, playability. Wish that the tuners can be also from Wilkinson and Graphtech string trees as well.

1 issue the volume pot does not taper and hvg having scratch pot issues.

This guitar is worth more than what I paid for it. This is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever own.I own plenty guitars and this is one of the best in my collection.I always carry at lease two guitars on stage and this will be one of them.I have 4 go to guitars this one will replace one of them.I play 09 Gage strings so I change the ones that came on the guitar.The locking tuners are great I'm hooked on Locking tuners. The whammy bar is fine now that I removed one of the springs so I could get a little more action.The pick ups sound good nice and warm not too thin.I saw one on YouTube where the guy was talking about the position of the three way switch I see that you changed the location and it's perfect .Over all the look and the sound are great.
