Cheap PSU with Good build quality ? can be a bit buzzy
This is a pretty cheap PSU compared to the price of a PSU with isolation between each output, so you can?t expect the same performance as with more expensive PSU?s, but you do get very good value for money.
I got the PowerPlant because I was running all my pedals on battery power and changing all the batteries when you have the pedals on a board is a pain.
The PowerPlant dos the job of distributing power to the pedals on the board, but it can be a bit buzzy ? depending on the actual guitar, pedal and amp setup in can vary from no noise at all to annoyingly noisy.
The noise level is not just about the PSU the pedals have an effect to, I have some pedals that have no noise issues, but I have an old pedal that draws a lot of power and if I add this pedal the noise is of the chart ? so this is currently running with it?s own power supply.
I currently have the Power plant mounted on the underside of a Palmer Pedalbay 40 board, where it is mounted with the standard straps that comes with the pedalbay board.
If you can afford a PSU with isolation and have power hungry pedals, I would recommend spending the extra cash to get less of the PSU buzz.

Cheap alternative to other power supplies
I ran out of flex cables for my old power supply, and instead of buying additional ones i decided to try out the HB Powerplant.
The good thing is that you get a lot of power outputs very cheaply - which is of course the most important thing - but there are also a couple of drawbacks:
The fact that the power chord for the powerplant is seperate means that is takes a longer time to pack and unpack, and the flex cables are a bit loose when plugged in. This is a bit of a concern, but so far it has not caused me any problems.
Another thing i have experienced is that when more flex cables than needed are plugged in (and the amp is turned up loud), a pulsing sound is coming from the speaker. This is only a 'problem' when not playing, as it is not a very loud pulsing sound.
Overall, it is a good power supply at its price.

It's great!
Bang for the buck! It's so cheap and great. I've had this one for 5 years and it's still working. It is pretty damn big and heavy and it's not isolated outputs. I've just bought the Junior of this brand, because of the isolated outputs.

Virker til dels
Måske er det bare mig, men jeg har prøvet alle de adaptere der kommer med uden at kunne finde en der kan drive min ProCo RAT 2 pedal. Måske er den deffekt (virker dog med batteri) eller også er Harley Benton PowerPlant deffekt, selvom den fungere med alle andre pedaler jeg sætter til den med alm runde 9v. stik.
Den lever ikke helt op til mine forventninger men er ikke gået i stykker efter over et års brug. Så alt i alt, tilfreds.

Harley Benton PowerPlant
Used to power five separate pedals in my setup, the HB PowerPlant is a reliable, sturdy power source with easy access and lots og different cables and possible configurations.
