Harley Benton ST-62CC MN LH Seafoam Green

I bought the Harley Benton ST62 Sea foam green .. thomann have been excellent with keeping me up to date with shipping and delivery.

the guitar out of the box was set up second to none ! set up with 9s it was flawless but a little high for my playing preference and thin on gauge but other wise fantastic for straight out the box for alot of players!
so changed the strings to 10s and the tuning stability is fantastic ! I plugged into a valve amp and oh my gosh what a player this thing is! so impressed no faults at all no fret sprout no damage the guitar came double boxed no blemishes to the body or neck a great little player!! really really impressed and honestly so happy with the purchase to go along with my gibson les paul tribute and harley benton custom made tele !! thankyou thomman

I keep asking myself as a owner of several Harley Benton guitars, how do they do it?

A quality instrument at an insane low price.

Tuners are good, though I will replace them with Fender locking tuners for personal preference.

The roasted maple neck & fretboard is beautiful to look at, like a mix between traditional rosewood & light maple.

String action at first fret with a capo on the third was a little high, but nothing I can not fix.

Truss rod is seated well and works as intended.

The color is stunning! Simply stunning. Mint pickguard suits this color very well although I may order a mother of pearl mint green pickguard online.

Pickups are surprisingly good, they have that quacky bright classical stratocaster sound that I love, all pickups are good I’m not changing them right away, if ever.

Tremolo system was tight, like too tight to use but you losen the springs in the back to your liking. Oh, and as a bonus, the back plate has holes in it so you can adjust the springs without removing the cover. There is also holes in the back plate so you can change strings without taking off the back plate, this is super handy! Thank you.

Output jack & pickup selector works, the pots are on the cheap side but this is to be expected for this price class. It is the classical full volume/tone at 10 or nothing at all, no taper except a little.

I adjusted the neck to my liking (dead straight), set the overall action to about 1.75-2.00mm, adjusted the pickup height and angel to my liking and God’s honest truth all I can say is congrats Thomann & Harley Benton this guitar now outclassed my MiM Strat Player ll series guitar or at the very least they are equal now for 2/10th of the price.

My tip is to get this and never look back, in this color they won’t be around for ever so if you’ve ever wanted a seafoam green strat I can not highly recommend this enough.

I forgot to add that the frets and fret wire was close to perfect! Little rough some places but nothing a little polishing won’t fix which I planed to do anyway.

i was looking to get a fender strat, but i saw this model, so i proceed to buy it. out of the box it looks amazing, no issues at all. strings height needed to be checked, but nothing mayor. soundwise, its amazing, i was looking for a richie sambora kind of sound and this does the job nicely. Only thing i would love is to get the other vintage models faster on sale, we need more models for left handed people. 10/10 will buy again.
