I have a slight humming background noise on mine, but I just wanna play with effects wearing a headset on, so it's just fine for me.
(tried recording with it but the noise gets to me, so I just practice with it)
keep in mind you have to put it in the soundhole, and then remove and unplug it every time you're done playing with it.
