JAM pedals Red Muck Bass Fuzz/Distortion

It sounds just great, awesome. For any setup for the controls range/position you could try. 4 controls for a simple and still wide options. So versatile!!!

From a smooth and low end growl with the Gain control almost on the minimum, up to the cleanest fuzz for a bass with a bunch of options at both ends of the Tone control.

It really works awesome with other pedals (synth, modulation, everything!), and thanks to the Mix control you can blend it into your sound so accurately.

I have a Spector legend 4 with aguilar soapbars (with OBP-2 preamp) and the Red Muck keeps the essence of the bass, but adds a notorious and still "gentle" punch to the sound. It really gives the bass a entire new range sound coloring.

I couldn't be more happy. Really, really great purchase.

Habe mir dieses Jahr zum Geburtstag einen neues Pedal gegönnt. Ich wollte schon länger meinen Big Muff von EHX auf meinem Pedal Board ersetzen und ich muss sagen, der Red Muck von Jam Pedals hat wirklich alles was Freunde von analogen Vintagesounds höher schlagen läßt. Egal wiesehr das Eingangssignal verzerrt wird, der Ton bleibt immer sehr warm und cremig. In den Bässen fett und satt. Mit dem High Gain Schalter bekommt man einen zusätzlichen „push over the cliff“, wenn es richtig abgehen soll.
Mir gefällt „ganzheitliche“ Ansatz von Jam Pedals, denn nicht nur der Sound ist top, auch das Design des Pedals ist liebevoll.
Der Red Muck ist, wie alle Pedale von Jam Pedal individuell gestaltet. Ausgestattet mit schönen Drehregler im Retrolook, die sich sehr solide anfühlen.
Die Bedienung ist auch sehr durchdacht, es gibt neben Regler für Ton, Level und Gain noch Mix, mit dem das Verhältnis des cleanen und verzerrten Ton geregelt wird.
Der Red Muck hat zwei Fussschalter. Den „normalen" und den „high-gain“. Als ich die Schalter das erste Mal gedrückt habe, hörte ich dieses bestimmte Klicken und da wusste ich sofort. Das Teil bleibt bei mir.
Eine absolute Kaufempfehlung !
