I have purchased and installed the castor set (K&M Wheel Set for Guardian) that go with the K&M 17515 model to make cleaning around the rack much safer and easier. The guitar rack rolls very smoothly (on a hardwood floor and stage, I haven’t tried it on carpet…) even when full of guitars and there is no fear of any guitars falling out. Each wheel has an independent locking system to assure the rack will not move unexpectedly.
I would, with all certainty, recommend this to anyone with a need for it.
I bought these for the K&M 17525 Guardian 5 Translucent guitar rack, to make it a bot easier to move around teh studio as needed.
Very good quality, took les than 2 minutes to fit the wheels. Solid as a rock.
Definitely worthwhile if you need to move the K&M guitar rack around from time to time.
Sorry about the lame joke in the heading... But to tell the truth, you'll want these with the Guardian stand. Absolutely. Only downside is, they could actually come with the stand itself in this price class. But still, not too expensive considering the advantages. Good, solid quality, they roll smoothly (on hard surface) even with a stand fully loaded.
The perfect complementary part for the K&M 17515 Guardian 5-guitar stand. Good quality, silent, and not invasive, almost invisible. Slightly hard to move, but I think it's just a matter of time and use. Thomann's service is great as always.
