If you are serious about playability, sound and durability you owe it to yourself to try any of the Knobloch strings. I use medium tension on my flamenco guitars and medium-high tension on my classic guitars. For now I have only used the nylon strings. They do need about 24 hours to get their true sound and this has been confirmed by Knobloch when I contacted them for questions on their other sets such as Normal, CX and QZ versions. Both sound and playability are sure all a matter of personal taste, but I have tried many highly rated and expensive strings and I am happy I tried Knobloch strings as these are the strings I now use most.
These strings need getting used to. I found the combination with a Bernabe M5 not ideal. The sound is too bright and rather sharp. The strings are of good quality. You have to get used to tuning the strings. The carbon trebles are more steady in tone than the basses. When using nylon string, this is the other way round. Overall: these are great strings for dynamic players who want volume and great contrast, because that is surely what these strings deliver.
got this for a flamenco guitar, great sound well worth the price, I haven 't put this set on but I have another one on of the same. Lovely snappy sound. they might wear out quicker than others that would last longer. I don't play that much guitar to be aware of that. I would highly recommend purchasing these strings. I am sure they work very well for classical as well!
