Meinl Solid Pickup Kalimba

Although no dead tines on mine, the 15,16 & 17 are just unuseable, they can only click, no sustain. Main output jack seems to be mono, although effects seems to be stereo and that stereo is available on headphone jack.
Headphone jack is poorly installed and sits recessed into the housing. This is making poor conncetion on most 3.5 jacks/adapters/headphnes. I will just try to fix this myself (this was a gift and I can't take it away from it's new owner).
The other jack is labeles AUX/REC and there no clear description what that does or how it's wired (TRS? TRRS?). Sincierly, I am affraid to plug anything into it an will keep away for now. (Maybe meinl support will have something to say).
Nice slab of wood, well finished an nicely rounded edges.
Case/bag is well padded but seems generic, with Meinl logo stitched slightly crooked, mid-quality zippers (not bad, just mid) the whole case just barely fits this calimba. Inside padding is pressing onto the 3 potentiometers with uncomfortable amount of "love and hugs".
Tuning hammer is top notch, best I have seen so far.

PS: figured out the problem with HPH jack, factory installed a regular metallic washer in place of plastic distancer on the 1/4" jack. SMH

I like the overall quality and sound of this kalimba and I find it extremely easy to retune to different modes. The effects are okay but nothing fancy or fantastic, the delay is quite short.
The only negative thing I have to point out with this kalimba, is that the battery compartment rattles a lot a some frequencies. I think it might be fixable with a piece of tape or something that can hold the lid more still and mute the rattling.
