Great product - Does the job

There is no doubt. Thomann products are really great stuff - at a really good price.
Is there more delicate craftmanship out there - Yes, of course! But if you need a good drum bag with a great fit for your gear, this deffinitely does the job.

Good bag, poor handles.

This bass drum bag has lasted me for 4 years of gigging, 2 to 3 nights a week. This is a good bag to get you by if you cannot afford hard cases. That said only with careful handling will a bag like this last. I used to pack some hardware on top of the bass drum skin wrapped in tshirts before I bought a hardware case (The joys of being a student meant my budget was limited).

The case is tough and water proof(To a certain extent..don't drop it in a river or anything) rain water will be no problem.

The only flaw on this case is the handles. They are held on by two metal clasps, and when carrying the bag in one hand they constantly become twisted, causing excess force on the handles. But it's fine when carrying by both handles.

Good bag for the price. It will get you by until you can upgrade to a higher quality case.
