Terrible build quality

Initially looks good and had a good suspension system. That was until it broke after 10 minutes of usage by simply adjusting the levers. Now I have to tighten every anchor point super tight and it is very very unstable. Would strongly suggest considering another microphone arm if you are looking to buy one.

Denne mellemrum DS200 er ikke så god som en røde eller Elgato low boomarm. Kvaliteten ved Mellium skal gøre en del bedre, og den skal kunne løfte de tunge mikrofoner langt bedre end den gør lige pt.

not bad but room for improvement

I bought this table microphone stand so I could do work either sitting or standing by my desk, depending on whether I would be singing or speaking.

This stand supports my microphone (a t-bone 400) with no issue and the reach is long. However, adjusting it is a bit of a pain. There are three separate joints that need to be tightened. The joint closest to the microphone is rather limited in its range of motion. Also, since all joints are hinge type joints it's not easy adjusting to get the microphone exactly where you want it. Overall it's something one can work around, it just takes time.

Disgusting Design Flaw – Avoid at All Costs

I deeply regret purchasing the Millenium DS200 Black mic arm. On the surface, it looks sturdy enough, but the design is absolutely appalling. If the wire goes—which it will, eventually—there is no accessible way to replace it unless you literally cut the wire with scissors and attempt to re-thread it. Why? Because the plug won’t fit through the internal path. This makes it essentially disposable once a fault occurs.

We’re not talking about a budget set of earbuds here. This is sold as a professional boom arm, yet it’s built like a cheap toy. A product that forces you to destroy and replace it within a few years if anything goes wrong is unacceptable. It’s the definition of bad engineering and poor sustainability.

If I could rate it zero stars for quality and stability, I would. Absolutely disgusted. Never again.
