A lot of microphones are made today, and all of them sound only half as good as the U87AI. This mic however is the mic you really want, it’s crystal clear, has the recording patterns you need, cardioid, omnidirectional and figure 8. I Throw Nectar 3 from izotope on vocals and it’s just heaven. It doesn’t get any better.
