I needed this socket to replace one at the back of my studio monitors.
I had used a cheap lead which ended up getting stuck so the only way to get it out was to break it out which meant the socket got damaged.

Handily enough though this one is exactly the same with the same pin configuration on it and so far the quality seems really good.
