The classic rock crash
There was a Paiste 602 with The first drumkit i bought back in the mid 60 ties.. I was hooked on that sound. Forever Paiste. So when I had a crash that died because someone dropped it, I got a new one. Sounds exactly the same. Great consistency and superb quality. Btw. I have paiste cymbals that are over 50 years of age and still work perfect.

I bought my Paiste 2002 crash years ago, but it still sounds as fresh and vibrant as the day I got it. It’s the perfect crash—especially for all styles of rock—cutting through effortlessly in both studio recordings and live performances. What really sets it apart for me is the tone: clear, warm, and full of character. Sonically, it just speaks to me in a way few cymbals ever have.
