Heads up if you're planning on using with a 14" drum.
I bought one of these to slam on an old 14x10" tom with six lugs. It turns out the Pearl OPTA-0910/C does not fit a drum like that. The shell depth was fine but the spacing between the lugs meant the Optimount came just ½" short of reaching both tension rods. I will have to return it which is too bad.
I bought the smaller version for a 12x7" snare and it fits perfectly and attaches firmly to the stand. A high quality product. Also, I think it looks pretty.
