Have to fiddle with it to get it to the right position to get the sound to go through, and then it might work for a while. Looks like a manufacturing defect or a quality-control issue, which I guess can happen. It would be a really good cable if it was working fine, other users seem to be happy with theirs. Bought it to use it with my Rockboard MOD 3 Patch Bay. The flat cable has great rubber and is really nice and soft, easy to handle, and the L connectors are small and waste no room.

I bought to patch a stereo wireless receiver into Jack inputs on a stage rack. I needed flat patches to fit the patch under existing cabling, so very good in that respect, just be aware that 30cm is shorter than I remembered it being, shame manufacturer doesn't also offer 50 or 75cm options for those who might want to patch longer distances.
