Performs the best at 5-7cm
This dynamic microphone requires a preamp like Fethead 27dB or a very low noise and high gain recorder to avoid white noise. Use it at 5-7cm distance to get a good sound. The microphone is very sensitive to pop and plosives. I use a pop filter ( round ring with thin fabric.
