Rode Tripod 2 - good overall tripod
I've been using this tripod for approximately a year now, and it hasn't failed me yet. Even though it is made of plastic, it's surprisingly sturdy. I've used it mostly outdoors, and it's super easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.
The only downside I can think of is that the rubber plugs on the legs can fall off when traveling.
