I wanted EMG 81 and a Sustainiac. So here we are, and it obviously delivers on both points.
Is it perfect, though? No, not at all. The neck joint is like really bad. Blemish galore on the top. In your face always.
Fret polish, really good. So the neck is really good. My previous main guitar was an Ibanez, Japanese build.
This Schecter is not even close, quality-wise. But it has the sound I wanted, and it is okay-ish.
What else? The shape of the fretboard is a little bit wide, C shape I think. But it is super thin at the nut. I like that, but this guitar needs a shop visit. This is not a kinda-ish Fender; it is its own thing, and you might not like it.
