Very well sounding and balanced addon for your cajon

This is a brilliant little "hithat" for your cajon. Very balanced. Not to loudy, not to quiet. The "tightness" can be adjusted if you think it "rings" too much. A bit expenshive considering the simplicity, but it works very well. If you want something extra for your cajon, then this is your first choice.

Opens up new posibilities

Installation was very easy, Works well. Luckily it still fits in my Cajon-bag (just about). I like to have the Hi-hat-like sound, so usually I play it with the dampening on (you can pull up the dampening). Makes Cajon playing more fun!

A brilliant way to expand your cajon setup

The Schlagwerk Heck75 Heck Stick is one of my favorite additions to my cajon setup. It adds a completely new dimension to the instrument and allows me to create more detailed and interesting grooves without needing a full drum kit.

The sound is crisp, responsive and blends very naturally with the cajon. I especially like using it to add hi-hat-style patterns while combining it with bass and slap sounds. It makes the whole setup feel much more complete and gives me many more rhythmic possibilities.

The build quality is excellent. It feels solid, well designed and made to withstand regular playing. It also integrates beautifully with my Schlagwerk cajon and other percussion accessories.

For anyone who wants to turn a cajon into a more versatile percussion setup, the Heck Stick is a fantastic accessory. Simple concept, great execution and extremely fun to play.

Definitely five stars!

My expirience with Schlagwerk 75 Heck Stick

Heck Stick - is one of my favorite innovation from Schlagwerk which gives more opportunity to use cajon live on stage. Now my Cajon may sound as almost completely drum set. The songs became sounds much richer and filling with simulated high-hat. I also have the abilities to change sound from closed to louder opened sound just with one move of hand.
A secure hold on Velcro tape makes it possible to disconnect Heck Stick at any time when it is inconvenient, such as during transportation.
Thanks to Heck Stick I can play a lot larger amount of grooves and bits from a lot of styles of music from drum n bass to latino which now sounds richer instead of using just original cajon technique.
