It works, but impractical.
I bought this to use for playing a pad synth from my phone during church services. It works just fine, but because it doesn't use phantom power, I have to manually charge the DI after every time I use it, to make sure it doesn't run out of battery. This is impractical. The sound quality also isn't great.
