They work as intended. Tying the strings to these string ties is a lot easier and faster than tying them around the bridge, and clear instructions are included in the packaging. I recommend putting the strings through the bridge before tying it to the string ties though, as it makes it is a little tricky to guide strings through the bridge from the tail end, which I hadn't realized until I tied all 6 strings to their respective ties.

In short, they're a simple and effective implement that fits very well aesthetically.
