This is a really well-made product that will suit the needs of many players out there, who mainly play single notes or power chords. If you are playing through distortion pedals and loud amps, this will be a great product for you. The packaging, unboxing, ease- of-use features etc. are impressive too.
Where the product falls behind though, is when it comes to playing styles that involve dynamics and finesse.
NOISE GATE:
There is a slight gating effect that cuts out softly sustained notes -- it's not extreme, but it's there and clean notes and chords might not ring the same way. It also blocks subtle feedback effects, and can ruin sensitive playing styles.
COMPRESSION:
There is also a certain amount of compression and audio-frequency tunneling. This changes the dynamics of combined notes and how they interact with each other and how they are ultimately rendered and perceived. Wide intervallic combinations are not great. A low note combined with a high note will not render like it should. Cleanly played Hendrix chords or Jazz chords will sound a bit off. If you are a player who likes subtle harmonics and overtones, this is really not the product for you. The low E-string will not twang the right way when struck hard. Combined notes will not create the right timbre.
LATENCY & FREQUENCY BAND
There is no perceived latency. Transmission and reception is great. No interference whatsoever. It's great for avoiding busy WiFi bands, cuts through human bodies and furniture and has quite a decent range for it's size and power.
"STEREO TRANSMISSION" -- BONUS FEATURE
Another great bonus feature is that you can unscrew the mono jack to reveal a mini-stereo jack. This allows for you to transmit music from your iPad to the house PA system, for example. It's not super-HiFi or genuine stereo transmission, but I've tested the sound and it's decent enough for a noisy club, if you ever need to play some music between sets. All you need is buy a cable like the "Pro snake TPY 2005 WRR" (available through Thomann) and connect it to the receiving unit.
CONCLUSION
This is not a super-deluxe product, but has an incredible cost/value ratio. I'm just a fussy audiophile who works a lot with intervallic notes and clean dynamics, so it's not great for my sensitive style. However, I will be keeping this product so I can use it for sound checking from various locations in a club, and for piping music from my iPad to the house system between sets. For its price, its a keeper.
