Not worth the money
This was definitely the wrong monitor for me.
In my opinion It cannot play as loud as the watt indicates. It is pretty heavy and the sound is not great.
We use some old db-tech. Basic200 as monitors, and the box ma120 mkII was thought as the third.
It is an inexpensive monitor. But even at that price I find it too expensive.
The angle of the monitor requires it to be a bit away from you to get into the sweet spot. But then it is too far away and is not loud enough.
As a comparison the old basic 200 sounds better and plays louder. The basic 200 had a new higher price but I guess you can find a used for less than a new box MA120 mkII.
We are not a loud playing band just a trio with lots of vocals. Maybe it is the vocal area it is not good at.
