Great bass but...
Generally a good instrument. It sounds great overall, but for the price I think the sound lacks a bit of character or attitude, especially the bridge pickup.
The playing experience is fine, and the mechanics and the preamp is great.
However, there are a few things I believe could be done better considering the price.
First: It is pretty heavy. It is not neckheavy at all, but that seems only to be due to the masive weight of the body.
Second: The sound/pickups, as already mentioned.
Third: The build quality. It generally feels steady and robust, but I have noticed small sharp edges around, ex. at the neck joint, and I could actually feel a small edge between the neck and the fretboard. I don't know if it was only my particular model, but I get the general impression that there are better instruments out there for the same price or even cheaper.
