Yamaha Soprano Sax 6C

This mouthpiece is very affordable. It produces sound easily, it is not resistant. The sound has a pronounced warmth and darkness. Some will lack precision and focus, because it is round and a bit scattered, but it is very pleasant to listen to. It is a grateful material for modifications; I always change its tip opening to 8 or 9 (Yamaha does not have mouthpieces with such an opening). Additional polishing of the rails and table is also useful. I usually use Vandoren Blue Classic 2 or V21 2.5, or d'Addario Royal 2.5 reeds with it. A very solid four!

I was using 7c for my alto sax and I was scared to buy the same size for soprano since the entonation is harder then alto, so I bought 6c. It is not hard to control the reed at all. I reccomend it.
