I use it in my pedalboard, it;s useful to easily change connections between components (for example, I can connect looper at the start or the end of my chain). Additionally input and output to my pedalboard are located in one place. Functionality of effects switcher (hmmm, almost) at low price. Yes, and it's passive - it doesn't require ant power source .
The jack groups are just hanging between the holes in the patch panel. To keep them from ratting, ART has a strip of foam pressing on one side, no other mounting solution. While plugging cables jacks still give you that cheap feel.
The sides/legs are one-piece rubber and they are not glued on but slotted in the aluminum body. If needed, it is easily removable or reversible as the body is symmetric.
No problems with the connections or cross-talk just yet.
Happy with this patch bay which I am using as a little Sub patch bay feeding off my main bay. It works great. Only wish would be for it to have some for of rack mounts for a half panel. But, that is not necessary. Great piece of kit.
