Behringer KXD15 Ultratone

Jeg skal lige sige, at jeg er ny med forstærkere, hvilket var hovedårsagen til at jeg valgte denne - fordi den er betydeligt billigere end alternativerne.

Jeg har brugt denne med akustisk guitar og sang, hvor den gengiver begge dele meget rent, hvilket er meget tilfredsstillende. Der får den 5 stjerner.

Til keyboard (Korg SV2), synes jeg, at den har lidt problemer med at gengive bassen, som bliver mudret og falder lidt tilbage i lydbilledet - især med rene klaverlyde (de mere elektroniske lyde går bedre). Det giver en mærkelig balance i lydbilledet hvor de høje frekvensniveauer går meget rent igennem, mens bassen drukner og mudrer lidt. Jeg har stadig ikke fundet et tilfredsstillende mix mellem keyboard og sang, men det er da muligt, at det findes.

Måske vil det hjælpe at køre to KDX15 i stereo-link, men den fylder ret meget, så det kan måske blive lidt for meget, at have to KDX 15 stående. Det er selvfølgelig fint, hvis de kan bruges som PA for hele bandet - jeg kan ikke sige noget om, hvordan det vil lyde.

Den spiller også vildt højt (Jeg har ikke haft volumen over 50% endnu. og suser omkring 6K - Det kan dog afhjælpes ved at begrænse inputtet og skrue ned på 6.3 på den grafiske equalizer. Det er ikke noget, man lægger mærke til, når man spiller.

Jeg købte den mest til hjemmebrug, og til det er den nok lidt overkill i forhold til, hvor stor den er, og hvor højt den spiller.

Tag ikke fejl... den lyder godt, men jeg er bare lidt skuffet over, hvordan den gengiver "akustisk" klaverlyd.

Looked everywhere for reviews of a budget amp for a digital piano. This Behringer popped out multiple times. Took the gamble and I cannot be happier for the purchase. The 15"version (KXD15) has a rich bass and LOTS of power (the KXD12, due to the smaller woofer, has less powerful bass but higher response mid-range). You can use it for whatever suits your need at the moment. Instrument amp, voice amp, monitor, PA, you name it. Very versatile 4 channel stereo amp. It can be linked with another KXD15 for true stereo signal. One major downside is the constant hissing from the amp. If you need a dead silent amp this is NOT your best choice. You can mitigate a bit by lowering the eq on the mid to high freq. You'll lose a bit of volume but the amp has more than enough power to compensate. The look of the amps is incredible. Clean and modern. Avoid CH1 for a line in or an instrument. The mic amplification hisses more than the other 3 channels. Use CH1 only for a microphone unless you really need it.

UPDATE: Regrettably, last weekend the second of these PA's died on me. They lasted between 3 1/2 and 4 years respectively. Both bought in 2021. I am unable to conscientiously keep the review as positive as it was without allowing other consumers to make an informed purchase. These PA's are fantastic when working. Just don't expect them to last long. Failure mode was D14 rectifying diode in amplifier PCB catastrophic failure. Cascaded to the rest of the board. Capacitors swollen and repair unfeasible. Amplifier module replacement exceeded 50% of total unit cost. S/N for reference in case issue is familiar to anyone: S200500026AZY and S200500003AZY. Original review remains as it was what I perceived at the time. Now know the trade off for this is longevity. Both used indoors in my bedroom for piano recital and some movie/music experience.

Very versatile amp for keboard players, with lots of inputs and I particularly like the stereo line outputs so you can monitor your stereo piano and send the stereo to the house PA if you are lucky enough to have one. Plenty of volume for on-stage monitoring but the rated power of 600W sounds optimistic to me. Great to have on-board effects, a microphone input and headphone socket too. Excellent value for money.

I'm two days in on this, but really loving it.

4 channels advertised, but Ch 1 can take XLR/mic and instrument (though they'd share volume and effects), plus you can run external sound, including your computer, through RCA cables on the back. XLR and TRS outputs can also be used simultaneously.

Pretty good on-board EQ and cool effects (100 to choose from) that you can run over channels individually or the whole. It does indeed have a good 88-key sweep and I've been happy with it handling the low end from bass guitar.

I've not compared it with Roland (at 3x the price) but for my needs this is a one-box fix-all. It's a great buy at this price.
