I heard a DB Tech ES- 802 system when I was on holidays in Italy and I was blown away by the sound so I went for the bigger ES 1203. The system is just perfect for my needs, it fits (squeezes) into the van and sounds amazing, I've used it 6 times with my bar hire work since getting it and it's fantastic. The bluetooth connection is great when used for background music at events and the anti feedback feature is a must have for speeches especially with a radio mic.

Fantastic, powerful and superb value

We bought this for use in a church installation. We wanted a complete PA system with a sub and this fitted the bill perfectly.
It was about the only one of these type of column speaker that allows you to separate the two 'tops' and mount them on stands / brackets for stereo sound - which it the primary reason for selecting it.
The sound quality is amazing and the spread and projection of the speakers is nothing short of remarkable. Even at 90 degrees to the tops there is still a lot of clarity in the output, although at extreme angles you do lose a bit of the top end but, if you have a speaker cab at right angles to the person listening to it there is something wrong with your set up!

The whole package is compact, reasonably lightweight and incredibly well built.
For a portable (or permanent) setup i would not hesitate to recommend this product.

Upgrading from a pair of ES503s

I bought one ES503 as my pandemic lounge PA, then added another this spring. They sounded fantastic, very smooth and hifi, but it was too many pieces and the 1" poles were a PITA. I also needed more volume so bought one 1203 to replace the 2 503s. One 1203 is MUCH louder and thicker (the 4" speakers really shine) and the bass is way more powerful. However I do miss the beautiful imaging and balance of the pair of 503s. Hope this is helpful.
